The Maine thing is feeling good
Maine houses the end of the Appalachian Trail, but the trail is only just getting going for the team on The Road to 50 States. On Day 5, they started in their overnight stop of Portland, where they met Dr. Janet Yancey-Wrona from Lonza Bioscience early in the morning. From there, they traveled to Freeport, where they took in a music festival and some culinary delights, before ending the day traveling to Vermont, where they met up with Pharma's Almanac scientific writer, Cynthia Challener. Watch the daily video to catch all the action. There was plenty of it for a Sunday. They've now begun a long journey west, and will pick up on Day 6 in South Burlington to head for Michigan and Ohio.
