Granite stamina in the face of South Dakota, North Dakota and Montana
Day 12 was a Sunday on The Road to 50 States, but it was no day of rest for the team, as they racked up easily their longest daily mileage so far and total travel time of 17 hours, 35 minutes. That's what happens when you hit the big country. After their overnight in southwest Minnesota, they made the short trek into South Dakota for an interview with Eddie Sullivan of SAb Biotherapeutics in Sioux Falls. Then they skipped north to Brookings, where they met Matthew Applegate of MedGene Labs, and they were grateful that these people gave up their time on a Sunday to discuss the next big thing in pharma. Jumping into North Dakota, they got to meet radio owner and personality of Big 98.7, Jesse James, who is also father to That's Nice staffer, Connor Halverson. They still had that mammoth drive across the State though to finish up in Glendive, Montana.
