Day 17 was all Alps and Austria, as the team stayed in one country, but went up and down in altitude. While at the hotel in Bad Kleinkirchheim, Nigel interviewed hotel proprietor Guenter Raunig, and head of the tourism board in Bad Kleinkirchheim Jacob Forstnig. Jacob and Nigel even took a walk around the hotel grounds, enjoying the beautiful blue sky and crisp mountain air.
After cleaning the cars and drifting around the car park, the team jumped into a cable car for a trip up the mountain, stopping at the summit to enjoy the view from the restaurant and the shore of the lake. Then it was back down to the Minis and back on the road. The Alpine Road, specifically, for a winding mountain trail that would lead them through stunning scenery to their destination of the day: Linz, Austria.
