Daniella Steel is the Senior Manager of Product Strategy for Astrea Bioseparations and is based in Cambridge, UK. Daniella has more than 15 years of industry experience in the development of products for biotherapeutics sector. Prior to Astrea Bioseparations, Daniella developed and managed portfolios of model cell system solutions, for the advancement of drug discovery and biotherapeutic development, at Horizon Discovery (a Perkin Elmer company) and at Cellartis/Takara Bio Europe AB. Daniella holds a PhD in electrophysiology from Imperial College, UK, with post-doc positions at McGill University Canada, and Gothenburg University, Sweden. Daniella’s current role focuses on novel bioseparation tools for cell and gene therapy development and manufacturing.
