Ben Newton is Chief Digital Officer of the GE Healthcare Life Sciences business. Ben's passion is the improvement of health and health outcomes with a clear focus on precision medicine. Ben joined GE Healthcare as Head of Disease Biology in 2004 from Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals. Since joining GE Healthcare, he has held leadership positions in global R&D, project leadership, product management and business. Ben has discovered and developed novel imaging agents for the diagnosis and imaging of fibrosis, Alzheimer’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, prodromal epilepsy, cardiovascular disease and cancer; successfully completed several CT, MR, Ultrasound and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) product development programs and led over twenty-five product launches globally.
