Seohyeon Song is a lead scientist and associate director of MSAT Upstream Processing at Samsung Biologics. He has over eight years of experience in tech transfer, process analysis, and process validation within CGMP manufacturing environments, with particular expertise in upstream operations for monoclonal antibody products. He holds a master’s degree in target protein discovery and cell line development from the Pohang University of Science and Technology. Prior to joining Samsung Biologics, he worked at CJ BIO Research Institute, where he developed strains, fermentation process technologies, and novel biomaterials.
