Daisy Huerta is an Application Development Specialist, Pharmaceutical Ingredients, for Ingredients + Specialties from Univar Solutions. She attended the University of Houston majoring in Business Administration and French. Her goal was to work in international business, but that changed when she started working at a compounding pharmacy that specialized in bioidentical hormones. Over the span of more than two decades, Daisy has worked as a compounding technician, a lead technician, a supervisor of a non-sterile laboratory, and in research and development. In her most recent role, Daisy worked as a compounding support specialist with Fagron where she provided formulation support, assisted customers in developing new formulas, offered troubleshooting suggestions (including equipment issues, technique improvement, alternative solutions), and facilitated virtual training. Utilizing the skills developed in her various roles throughout her career, Daisy will work with our sales team to promote excipients from our key suppliers to our customers.

Daisy currently resides in Houston, Texas with her husband. In her time off, Daisy enjoys baking, reading, and exploring new coffee shops.
