Distek’s New ezfill+ Dissolution Media Preparation System Now Offers Data Integrity Support

North Brunswick, NJ – Distek, Inc., a leading manufacturer of laboratory testing instruments for the
pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry has just released its new ezfill+. Like the ezfill 4500
predecessor, the ezfill+ allows rapid, effective deaeration and precise media volume delivery. In
addition, the new ezfill+ includes a touch screen and intuitive user interface that allow stored methods,
users, logins, reports and printing or remote storage. If the user prefers, the ezfill+ has a “simple mode” that does not require a login or predefined methods.

“With the growing emphasis on data integrity” says Jeff Seely, Vice President of Sales & Business
Development at Distek, Inc., “it is becoming increasingly important to be able to control and document
every aspect of your dissolution testing. This is especially true of deaeration and dispensing, which are
very common sources of out of spec tests. By having user logins and stored methods included in a
printable and/or storable report, these can now be documented with all other parameters of the test.”
