Overview

NecstGen (Netherlands Center for the Clinical Advancement of Stem Cell and Gene Therapies) is a mission-based CDMO owned by Leiden University Medical Center. Based in the Leiden Bio Science Park, NecstGen operates a state-of-the-art development and GMP manufacturing facility that is open to all and supports academic, small, and large industrial therapy developers in translating research and early-stage clinical programs into patient treatments. Founded in 2020, NecstGen’s GMP facilities manufacture cell and gene therapies and viral vector medicines for preclinical and phase I to phase III. Their cell and gene therapies include iPSC, CAR-T, and NK; their viral vector segments include LV, AAV, and oncolytic viruses. NecstGen also offers flexible cleanroom rentals of their GMP facility.
