API Corporation (APIC) was a Japanese-based pharmaceutical manufacturing company specializing in APIs and intermediates. APIC provided comprehensive CDMO services, including synthetic route design, manufacturing process, pilot/investigational manufacturing, and commercial manufacturing. The company had a large portfolio of products, including APIs, intermediates, chemical products, and hydro amino acid kits for screening potential intermediates to be used for synthesis. In 2022, UBE acquired APIC and, as of October, 2025, no longer offers CDMO services.
