Wookjae Lee is Lead Scientist in the Molecular Biotechnology Group at Samsung Biologics. Since joining the company in 2023, he has successfully developed high-titer CHO host cell lines and platform processes specifically optimized for the production of mAb and BsAb modalities. Wookjae also executed the full CLD workflow and contributed to early-stage upstream process activities, ensuring robust transition to manufacturing. He holds a Ph.D. in Synthetic biology from Yonsei University and brings over ten years of experience in the biologics industry. Prior to joining Samsung Biologics, Wookjae led and directed the clinical experiment team at IMBdx, where he managed the development and commercial launch of advanced diagnotics.
