Sarah Sutherland is an Associate Director within Clinical Operations at the PPD Clinical Research Business of Thermo Fisher Scientific. With over 15 years industry experience and as Start Up Lead for the UK and Ireland she has and in depth understanding of the clinical research environment for the UK and Ireland. With an end-to-end focus she collaborates cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective site selection, site activation and study delivery. Partnering with NIHR and PPD Select Networks within the UK she works to enhance the feasibility strategy for site section that will enable the inclusion of new clinical trial sites and innovative site set up.
