Phillip Elliott has been working in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries since 1996. Currently the Associate Director of Process Development with Biocina, he has held various roles in CSIRO, GroPep, Bresagen, Hospira and Pfizer.
He has experience in developing contract manufacturing, technology transfer, Process Validation, analytical development and protein chemistry. He acted as the Drug Substance lead for commercial products which were successfully launched in the US, EU and Canada and has experience working in Australia, India, the US and Europe.He is currently involved in several collaborations with academic and commercial organisations for the development of next generation mRNA manufacturing technologies. He is also involved in business development activities for BioCina and manages a group of Scientists and Engineers in the delivery of CDMO products and services.
Phillip holds an Honours degree in Biotechnology (Flinders University) and a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering (Pharmaceutical) from the University of Adelaide.
