Adriana Kiędzierska-Mencfeld is the Chief Executive Officer of Rezon Bio, where she leads the organization end-to-end, setting the strategic direction, driving operational excellence, and fostering strong client partnerships to deliver high-quality biologics development and commercial manufacturing services.
With over two decades of experience in the biotechnology industry, Adriana brings deep expertise in recombinant protein expression, purification, and biosimilar development. Prior to her current role, she held senior leadership roles at Polpharma Biologics, including Production Director, Site Head and Chief Operating Officer. There, she played a pivotal role in transitioning the company from development to commercial-scale manufacturing. Her leadership was instrumental in securing FDA and EMA approvals, executing greenfield and brownfield projects, and launching two biosimilar molecules to global markets. She has also demonstrated a strong focus on people development, fostering teams and building a culture of growth and excellence.
Earlier in her career, Adriana worked at a small Polish biotech company, contributing to both the development and the establishment of clinical production capabilities. She has a robust background in GMP production, technical operations and operational excellence, making her an industry leader in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Adriana holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Wroclaw, and an M.Sc. in Molecular Biotechnology and Biocatalysis from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at IMD Business School in Switzerland. Fluent in Polish and English, and proficient in German, she combines technical expertise with strategic vision to drive innovation and growth in the biopharmaceutical industry.
