Groninger Opens a New Showroom at its Headquarters in Germany

150 square meters of space, the newest technology available, a separate area for customers, and plenty of space for individual dialogue: these are the -summarized- key features of the new showroom, which groninger has installed at its headquarters in Crailsheim, Germany.

“Our intention is to not only provide a separate area for our customers, but also keep them informed about our newest machines, innovations, and technological advancements all year round” says Dirk Schuster, Sales Director and Member of the Management Board of groninger & co. gmbh. Schuster also adds, “That’s why we decided to set up a showroom and training center on the company premises in Crailsheim. The showroom is located right next to groninger’s large assembly halls”.

groninger, which is a second generation family-run company, mainly builds customized machines for the filling and closing of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and consumer healthcare products. “Usually, our customer’s inquiries are very particular in nature. Most of the time the customer comes to us with specific challenges,” says Schuster. Therefore, many employees must work together to identify solutions to these problems. Solutions for both, complex challenges as well as standard machine concepts can now be viewed in the showroom.

groninger has been successful in multiple market industries for almost 40 years. However, the market is changing. Stricter regulatory requirements in all areas, particularly the sterile pharmaceutical industry, are becoming more and more apparent, ultimately resulting in an increased demand for more complex machines. Therefore, increasing the effort of quality customer consultations must also be an important factor to consider. “Since we also want to have satisfied customers in the future, we take our time for a quality consultation, of course,” states Schuster. “The time at exhibitions where you traditionally meet a lot of customers is usually too short for an informative discussion”.

Trade shows are very tightly scheduled, Schuster says. “Taking the time to discuss project details, demonstrate examples, or identify various solutions is hard to do in such a limited time frame – for both our customers and us”.

To continue to develop business with integrity and customer focus, groninger installed the mentioned showroom and training center. From the late summer onwards, five machines from the groninger portfolio will be shown in an area of around 150 square meters. “The new showroom offers plenty of space for open discussions”.

No question about it, the Crailsheim based engineering company has once again created some additional value for its customers.
