LAVAL, Quebec /PRNewswire/ -- Bausch Health Companies Inc. (NYSE/TSX: BHC) ("Bausch Health" or the "Company") announced today that the Company has completed the acquisition of certain assets of Synergy Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASD: SGYP) ("Synergy") for a cash purchase price of approximately $195 million and the assumption of certain assumed liabilities, pursuant to the terms of the stalking horse asset purchase agreement previously entered into with Synergy and following approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (the "Bankruptcy Court") on March 1, 2019.
