Colin has over 20 years of management experience in quality and regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Having begun his career in quality control at GSK, he moved into other areas of compliance, including herbal, small molecule, advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP), and human tissue, implementing and maintaining Human Tissue Authority (HTA) and good manufacturing practice (GMP) licenses in a number of sites using an ISO 9001 quality management system and associated certifications. Colin joined Astrea Bioseparations in 2015 to implement and develop a quality management system that adheres to GMP for active substances, is compliant with ISO 9001:2015, and uses a lean approach to manufacturing.
