Mr. Ovadia has more than 25 years of experience in leading global operations and driving innovative technologies from R&D to the market. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Check-Cap, an Israeli company developing the first and only patient-friendly, preparation-free test to detect precancerous polyps in the colon and rectum. Prior to joining Check-Cap, Mr. Ovadia served as a global director at Philips Healthcare, where he managed the computed tomography systems branch across three continents. Mr. Ovadia also served as a member of Philips Medical Israel’s management team. Prior to his position at Philips Healthcare, Mr. Ovadia served in various positions at Elbit Systems, a major global defense company where he had full accountability for aircraft and naval upgrades across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Israel. Mr. Ovadia holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Technion Institute, Haifa, Israel.
