Day14: From Coffs Harbour to Byron Bay

Whale Watching on the Woolgoolga Coast

Staying true to Aussie style, the team took a pit stop at the beach to soak up the sun and reflect on their favorite moments from the road. Day 14 had taken them from Coffs Harbour to Byron Bay, covering over 250 kilometers of the Australian coast.

They fired up their engines and kept moving, taking their next break at Woolgoolga Point for some whale watching. And no worries, mate—we couldn’t pronounce it either!

The Interceptor Takes a Break and Mad Max Takes the Passenger Seat

After a long journey across Australia, the Interceptor finally needed a break, coughing up smoke and rattling to a halt. It was out of commission, sidelined by engine trouble. The team carried on, stopping at a lighthouse to take in the view before continuing their trip.

Mad Max had to set aside his road warrior instincts for a while, riding as a passenger as they made their way to Byron Bay.
