The Stuntman Back from the Dead

Our crew has turned Clunes into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Mad Max, where no one is safe. Not even the boss escapes, as the team speeds down the road with Nigel – Max Rockatansky himself – chained to the front of 'The Humungus.' After the Clunes gathering, we head to a Mad Max man cave for an exciting interview with Dale Bensch, the stuntman rumored to have died during filming. Back from the dead, he meets with us to confirm that he is still alive and kicking. Get the behind-the-scenes scoop direct from Dale in today's daily video!

After laying low for a long time, Dale’s reemergence thrilled fans, cementing his status as a cinematic legend. This interview offers a rare glimpse into the daring stunts that defined Mad Max and Dale’s lasting legacy in the world of action cinema.

A Competing Interceptor Arrives on Set

In Clunes, we met Mark and his father, two devoted Mad Max fans who proudly showcase their restored Falcon replica, built from an authentic 1970s police cruiser. This 45-year-old vehicle, complete with its original engine and interior, is a stunning tribute to the Mad Max legacy. Mark and his father attend Mad Max events across Australia, sharing their passion with fellow fans and even supporting charitable causes, making their story a heartfelt celebration of the enduring impact of the iconic franchise.
