The Road... Back to Dublin
Time flies when you’re driving a DeLorean. Day 10 of The Road to Ireland has arrived, and what a journey it has been! We spent our last morning in Wexford with the team at Waters. Liam Hore, General Manager, and Leanne Davey, Senior Director of Assay Development & PMO, were kind enough to tour us around the facility, including their labs. After Nigel interviewed the Waters team it was, of course, time for the customary shot with the DeLorean. In keeping with our Back To theme, it was time to head back to Dublin to close out our trip. Before heading into Dublin proper, the team stopped off at Grange Castle International Business Park in Clondalkin to meet with the Grifols team. At Grifols we had the pleasure of interviewing Michael Howell, Director of Manufacturing and Marga Viñes, Business Development Manager Contract Manufacturing, while also seeing their cleanrooms, and popping into the DeLorean for a quick chat. Our final interview of the day — and the trip! — brought us back into Dublin 2 for a stop at IBEC. There we met with Matt Moran, Director of BioPharma Chem Ireland. An interview in the DeLorean seemed like the perfect end to another epic road trip. The only thing left to do? Celebrate with an epic champagne toast. As we say goodbye to this Road To adventure, we offer a huge thank you to all of the industry leaders, companies, and individuals who took the time to meet us (and the DeLorean) on the road.
