A regal drop, lost ID and a ton of driving across The Centennial State
Just as the morning before, Day 27 on The Road to 50 States began with some drama. Emilee had lost her wallet the day before, and as if that weren't enough, the first order of the day for Albert and Adama was to take her to the Denver Airport as she was scheduled to be heading back to NYC. Nobody was sure what was going to happen, so they wished her good luck rather than farewell. She did get out though, and the rest of the team were missing her vibe shortly thereafter. Nigel and Lucas had headed to Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater early on to meet up with That's Nice web designer, Austin Pittman. Nobody sang, thankfully. Back in Denver they had interviews at Excellere Partners and technology firm, ObvioHealth. Adama began painting the Lamborghini and won himself a fan club of local kids. Good validation there. Once this was done, the team had a seven-hour drive ahead of them to Lincoln, Nebraska. So it was technically Day 28 when they arrived, and that would be their next adventure after a few precious hours crying themselves to sleep over Emilee's departure.
