Magicking up time in The Land of Enchantment
Day 26 on The Road to 50 States began in New Mexico and was going to involve the cars charging to Albuquerque and then all the way to Denver, Colorado, demanding around seven hours of driving. The problem was, the Tesla had charging problems and traffic the night before, leaving Phoenix in neighboring Arizona, and Albert and Adama got to the New Mexico hotel at a new record 7:00am. Emilee saved their bacon (breakfast sandwiches) by switching back to the Tesla and driving so they could get some shut-eye. Having been with Nigel and Lucas, she had at least gotten a few hours of rest. So they managed to turn back time, buoyed by an ice cream stop, and caught up with the interviews Nigel and Lucas were doing in Albuquerque at Goodman Technologies and The BioScience Center. For the subsequent late day run all the way to Denver, some carpool karaoke was required to keep the eyelids apart. Grab yourself a coffee and watch the action in the daily video.
