Roll of the dice in Nevada, and Sin City pays out on 24
Waking up in Vegas was a bit of a hangover for the team on The Road to 50 States, but only because Nigel locking the keys in the car at a gas station the night before had cost them around three hours of sleep. Nonetheless, they took no gamble in Sin City and put the Lamborghini into the local dealer for some mid-trip TLC, while they slotted into the Tesla to tour three of the big life sciences shows in town, interviewing Chairmen and Presidents from Avid Bioservices, Heligenics, and Zhittya Genesis Medicine. Emilee apparently scored with some BD calls back in the hotel room, the Lambo came back with new oil and new tires, the Tesla wound up with a full charge, and even Elvis gave his opinion on the next big thing in pharma. So they had played their cards right and felt like they'd hit the jackpot in Nevada. But another state awaited, so they headed out at sunset on 93 towards Phoenix, looking forward to Day 25 – the halfway point – in Arizona.
