William D. Barbo began his career at Charles River in 1982 as a research scientist and progressed through a number of management positions of increasing responsibility during the years that followed. He spent most of his career running various businesses for the company. In 2016, Mr. Barbo was promoted to Corporate Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, he leads our global sales and marketing organization, drives long-term strategic partnerships with clients, and plays a key role in ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and value from Charles River.
