Tim heads the upstream process development group at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, an industry-leading biologics Contract Manufacturing Organization. Fujifilm is a recognized leader in the production of microbial, mammalian and baculovirus expression system derived biologics. Tim has over 25 years of experience in the development and manufacture of recombinant proteins, vaccines, and monoclonal antibodies, expressed in a wide array of expression systems. Tim’s group is responsible for upstream process development activities including cell culture, fermentation and primary recovery, and they also provide process characterization and manufacturing support services.
