Ulrike has been with IDT Biologika since 2014 and serves as Chief Commercial Officer at IDT. In her 28 years of engagement in biotech and pharma industries, she founded three biotech companies. At Scil Proteins a company which developed protein based therapeutics and offered Contract Manufacturing Services she served as a CEO for 14 years. Besides, she held several roles in industry such as quality control and business development and leadership positions at the Universities of Halle and Dresden, Germany. Ulrike studied biochemistry and earned her PhD in Plant Biotechnology at the Leibniz Institute in Gatersleben, Germany. At Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany, Ulrike has a Honorary Professor for Industrial Biotechnology since 2015.
