Mike heads the downstream process development group at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, an industry-leading biologics Contract Manufacturing Organization. Fujifilm is a recognized leader in the production of microbial, mammalian and baculovirus expression system derived biologics. Mike has over 17 years of experience in the development and manufacture of recombinant proteins, vaccines, and monoclonal antibodies, expressed in a wide array of expression systems. Mike’s group is responsible for downstream process development activities including chromatography, refolding, ultrafiltration/diafiltration, filtration, bulk fill and chemical modification. They also provide process characterization, viral validation and manufacturing support services.
