Matt Hanson is the global head of the API contract services and manufacturing franchise at MilliporeSigma where he is responsible for development and implementation of global strategy for the business. Prior to Merck’s acquisition of Sigma-Aldrich, Matt was Director of Strategic Marketing for SAFC’s contact services business and has held various leadership roles in sales & marketing at companies including SAFC, Hovione and Tetrionics. Matt’s primary expertise resides in highly-active (HPAPI) and complex materials including extensive work in the field of Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC’s). Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from St. Olaf College and an MBA from Marquette University.
